![]() ![]() On quite a lot of missions I had four of them with me even when I avoided the ancestrial trinkets also. ![]() If it is, the virtue trinket would make a lot of sense for example against vvulf or maybe in the first two darkest dungeon runs where a resolve check is very likely in the end. I also do not know if it is possible to switch trinkets during a fight. I think it´s not a real end-game trinket or a trinket you use all the time I imagine. In some occasisions maybe the trinket is a good choice. I was glad I did it after he managed to survive death door with blight in the end. Nevertheless I locked in the quirk increasing death blow resistance to my highwayman after I had made the decision to bring him on the third darkest dungeon fight. I never used it either, because in my opinion it´s more preferable to avoid such a situation. There is a trinket that gives you better death-blow-resistance. I liked to bring at least one stress book (-20% stress) on my missions to switch it around if necessary and this strategie was very helpfull. He was able to switch it to a member with dangerous high stress level. I never used them by myself but I read a comment once somebody stated using one on a mission he liked a lot. You're always better off simply using good trinkets and trying to avoid Stress. I have no idea why Virtue Chance is even in the game. And if it's hard-capped at 60% like you're saying (never heard about that and I have no idea why they'd do that), then it's just idiotic. That's actually a lot, but the character will still become Afflicted 1/4 of the time, in which case both your trinkets and your quirk will have been worthless. You could do it for fun once in a while, but it wouldn't be smart.ĪFAIK there's a +10% quirk, a +15% trinket and a +25% trinket. and the bonuses still wouldn't come anywhere close to what you'd get from trinkets.Įven at 100% chance, it'd be a gimmick. You'd have to wait until 100 Stress to trigger the Virtue. ![]() Your character would be far weaker than normal for much of the dungeon run because they'd functionally not be using any trinkets. Imagine that you could reach 100% Virtue Chance. No, that's pretty much the consensus on Virtue Chance. ![]()
